There is no evidence to support O’Neill’s claim, nor is there any evidence to support the entire story of Seal Team Six’s raid on Bin Laden’s compound in 2011.
According to Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh, “It’s one big lie, not one word of it is true.”
And of the report released by the Pakistani Government he said, “Let’s put it this way, it was done with considerable American input. It’s a bullshit report.”
Why does Hersh doubt the official story?
First of all, there was significant evidence that Bin Laden was already dead, and had been for nearly 10 years, as reported in the New York Times, FOX News and in the Islamic press.
Egyptian Newspaper al-ward article:
When the infamous “confession” videotape was released in December of 2001, it was dismissed by the Bush administration as sick propaganda possibly designed to mask the fact the al-Qa’eda leader was already dead.
The CIA is no stranger to creating phony videos, as the Washington Post reported:
“The agency actually did make a video purporting to show Osama bin Laden and his cronies sitting around a campfire swigging bottles of liquor and savoring their conquests with boys, one of the former CIA officers recalled, chuckling at the memory. The actors were drawn from “some of us darker-skinned employees.”
Not to mention that the man in the video bore little resemblance to known photos of Bin Laden.
Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Steve Pieczenik didn’t believe the videotape either. He said that Bin Laden had already been “dead for months,” and that the government was waiting for the most politically expedient time to roll out his corpse.
Pieczenik explained, “He died of marfan syndrome, Bush junior knew about it, the intelligence community knew about it,” said Pieczenik, noting how CIA doctors had visited Bin Laden at the American Hospital in Dubai. “He was already very sick from marfan syndrome and he was already dying, so nobody had to kill him.”
In 2008, former CIA officer Robert Baer when asked about Bin Laden by a radio host responded, “Of course he is dead.”
With all these well-informed people stating they believed Bin Laden was dead, and with even President Bush stating that, “I just don’t spend that much time on him, to be honest with you.”
With the utter lack of interest in Bin Laden, what led to the supposed raid on his compound in Pakistan?
According to Pieczenik, “Did the intelligence community or the CIA doctor up this situation, the answer is yes, categorically yes.”
“This whole scenario where you see a bunch of people sitting there looking at a screen and they look as if they’re intense, that’s nonsense,” referring to the images released by the White House which claim to show Biden, Obama and Hillary Clinton watching the operation.
This story was quickly abandoned when Leon Panetta, director of the CIA, revealed there was a 25 minute blackout when the live feed from cameras mounted on the helmets of the US special forces was turned off.
No one witnessed anything.
In a later interview, Hillary Clinton explained that the reason she was holding her hand to her mouth was that she had a cold at the time and was suppressing a cough.
No video of the deed was ever released.
Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, Paul Craig Roberts added, “This fake story together with the fake movie and the fake book by an alleged SEAL team member is the way the fake story of bin Laden’s murder is perpetrated.”
“Bin Laden’s alleged demise at the hands of a SEAL team was a propaganda orchestration, the purpose of which was to give Obama a hero’s laurels and deep six Democratic talk of challenging his nomination for a second term.”
One cannot deny that the report of Bin Laden’s demise was fairly convenient for President Obama in his re-election bid of 2012.
The alleged body of Bin Laden was hastily dumped in the sea. The White House claimed this was in accordance with normal Islamic burial rituals, however numerous Muslim scholars disputed this claim, pointing out that Muslims can only be buried at sea if they die at sea.
But none of the crew on the ship from which the White House reported bin Laden was buried at sea saw any such burial, and the sailors sent messages home to that effect.
So what was the reaction from the radical Muslim world at the supposed murder and improper disposal of its leader?
Nothing.
No one cared.
Why would they if they knew that Bin Laden had died ten years earlier?
Moreover, the BBC interviewed residents in Abbottabad, including those next door to the alleged “Bin Laden compound,” and all say that they knew the person who lived there and it was not Bin Laden.
So what is this claim by Rob O’Neill about?
He is presented as a “motivational speaker” in search of clients. What better ploy among gullible Americans than to claim “I am the one who shot bin Laden.”
What better way to give Rob O’Neill’s claim validity than for the Pentagon to denounce his revelation for breaking obligation to remain silent.
The Pentagon claims that O’Neill by claiming credit has painted a big target sign on our door asking ISIS to come get us.
What unbelievable nonsense.
The reason the SEAL team was prevented from talking is that no member of the team was on the alleged mission.
As the official story was falling apart at the seams, several members of SEAL Team 6 mysteriously died in a helicopter crash when they were loaded in an unprotected 1960s vintage helicopter and sent into a combat zone in Afghanistan.
For a while there were news reports that families of the dead SEALs did not believe one word of the government’s account.
Moreover, the families reported receiving messages from the SEALs that suddenly they felt threatened and did not know why.
The SEALs had been asking one another: “Were you on the Bin Laden mission?”
Apparently, none were.
Dead SEALs tell no tales.
“…the purpose of which was to give Obama a hero’s laurels and deep six Democratic talk of challenging his nomination for a second term.” LOL’s. I find it funny that anybody would believe that Mrs. Clinton would go along with this. She wanted to be the party’s nominee in 2012 just like she wanted to be the party’s nominee in 2008, 2004. There’s no way she would participate in a grand conspiracy to ensure Obama would take away from her something she’d wanted since childhood. But the article was entertaining. Now do one about alien abductions. Or chemtrails. Or Bigfoot.
