Are some pigs more equal than others? A timeless tale on the dangers of government.
Tired of being ruled over by a tyrant, the farm animals revolt and establish a new society where all “animals are equal,” only to be betrayed by their leaders, the pigs, who adopt a new slogan, “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
This powerful satire of the Russian Revolution is just as relevant now as it was when produced in 1945. More than a criticism of communism, it may very well be a warning for the excesses of government control of any system. An excellent introduction to political thinking for children. This used to be standard curriculum in many schools.
